Marseille Open: Humbert edges past Sonego to book spot in semi-finals

Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the second seed, moved into the semi-finals of the Marseille Open by winning against Italian Lorenzo Sonego, the No 7 seed, 6-4, 6-4 at the Palais des sports.
Humbert, ranked No 17, will face Belgian Zizou Bergs next.
The Frenchman beat Kazakh Alexander Bublik (7-6 (7), 6-4) ahead of his victory.
In the previous rounds of the Marseille tournament, Sonego, ranked No 35, defeated Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp (6-1, 3-6, 6-3) and French lucky loser Luca Van Assche (W/O).
