Munich Open: Goffin makes quarter-finals

Belgian David Goffin won against Argentinian Mariano Navone 0-6, 7-5, 6-1 to move into the last eight of the Munich Open at the MTTC Iphitos complex on Thursday.
Goffin, ranked No 52, will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 5 seed, and Kazakh lucky loser Alexander Shevchenko next.
In the previous round of the Munich tournament, the 34-year-old Belgian edged out lucky loser Billy Harris (6-2, 6-7 (2), 6-4).
Navone, ranked No 70, edged out Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 3 seed (2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (3)) during the first round of the Munich tournament.
