Stuttgart Open: Kyrgios through to last four Murray clash after Fucsovics retirement

Australian Nick Kyrgios advanced to the last four of the Stuttgart Open when Hungarian Marton Fucsovics retired from their match at Tennis Club Weissenhof on Friday evening.
He will next play a friend of his – a resurgent Andy Murray.
Kyrgios, ranked No 78, led 7-6 [3], 3-0 when Fucsovics, ranked No 55, pulled out at Tennis Club Weissenhof on Friday evening.
In the previous rounds, Kyrgios beat Czech Jiri Lehecka (7-6 [3], 6-3) and Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili, the No 5 seed (6-7 [4], 6-4, 6-3), while Fucsovics edged out Austrian Jurij Rodionov (6-7 [5], 6-3, 6-4) and won against Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 3 seed (7-5, 6-7 [7], 6-3) in the previous rounds.
