Patrick Mouratoglou and the Jumeriah hotel group have announced the opening of a Mouratoglou Tennis Center in Dubai. This is the first step in the internationalization of the Mouratoglou brand, born with the famous coach's academy in the South of France.
It is an exceptional place where Roger Federer regularly puts the finishing touch on his off-season preparations. Eleven courts at the foot of one of the most luxurious hotels in the world, in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), under the most generous sun. Since December 10, this space has been called the Mouratoglou Tennis Center Jumeirah and it is the first step in the international expansion of the Mouratoglou brand, named after the coach Serena Williams, who is also the founder of one of the largest tennis academies in the world on the French Riviera.
“I think we are more than ready to take the next step in sharing our passion and expertise across borders,” said Patrick Mouratoglou in a statement. “The Mouratoglou Tennis Center Jumeirah in Dubai is the first of many to come, and we are proud to start this journey with the Jumeirah Group. I don’t see a better place than Dubai to bring a new dimension to the Mouratoglou brand.”
Coaches trained in the Mouratoglou method now offer guests of the luxury hotel Jumeriah and the local population tailor-made courses, inspired by methods that have proven their worth with tennis stars like Serena Williams, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Coco Gauff and Grigor Dimitrov.
Andreescu and Pavlyuchenkova already training on site
The center will also serve as a base camp for the best players in the world, such as Bianca Andreescu, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Kristina Mladenovic and Fiona Ferro.
Without any doubt, this first center will become the benchmark for high-level tennis training in the Middle East, the same way the Mouratoglou Academy has been in leading the elite tennis industry in Europe for over 20 years and shaping some of the world’s most promising talents.
“The Mouratoglou Academy has been a great training base for me and my family and I really enjoy training here. I have no doubt that Patrick and his team will be successful anywhere they apply their methodology,” says Stefanos Tsitsipas.
The Mouratoglou Tennis Center Jumeirah will welcome professional tennis players between tournaments, who will make the most of playing in exceptional facilities with the added benefit of perennial sunshine. The center’s high-end facilities and optimal training environment makes it an attractive location for players preparing for competition.
