Alert: Rybakina battles past Azarenka in Miami semi-finals
Elena Rybakina beat Victoria Azarenka in a three-set thriller on Thursday in Miami. Rybakina will battle either Danielle Collins or Ekaterina Alexandrova for the title.

Elena Rybakina, the No 4 seed, reached the final of the Miami Open by edging out Victoria Azarenka, the No 27 seed, 6-4, 0-6, 7-6 (2) at the Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday.
Rybakina will face the winner of the match between Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 14 seed, and American Danielle Collins in Saturday’s final.
The Kazakh previously defeated Dane qualifier Clara Tauson (3-6, 7-5, 6-4), American qualifier Taylor Townsend (6-3, 6-7 (3), 6-4), American Madison Keys, the No 17 seed (6-3, 7-5) and Greek Maria Sakkari, the No 8 seed (7-5, 6-7 (4), 6-4).
Azarenka made her Miami run at the expense of American Peyton Stearns (7-5, 3-6, 6-4), Chinese Qinwen Zheng, the No 7 seed (6-4, 7-5), No 24 seed Katie Boulter (7-5, 6-1) and Kazakh Yulia Putintseva (7-6 (4), 1-6, 6-3).
