Berlin Open: Jabeur defeats Paolini, winning two matches in a row for the first time since February
Ons Jabeur defeated Jasmine Paolini 6-1, 6-3 on Wednesday afternoon and will play the winner of the match between Russian Diana Shnaider and Marketa Vondrousova in the next round

Ons Jabeur, now world No.61 and lucky loser, advanced to the quarter-finals of the Berlin Open by winning against Italian Jasmine Paolini, the No 4 seed, 6-1, 6-3 at the Rot-Weiss Tennis Club on Wednesday afternoon.
The Tunisian is happy to be back on grass as she defeated American qualifier Caroline Dolehide (7-6 (5), 6-1) in the previous round of the Berlin tournament. She a double Wimbledon runner-up (2022 and 2023), as her Italian opponent lost the final in London in 2024.
Jabeur, ranked No 61, will play the winner of the match between Russian Diana Shnaider and Marketa Vondrousova next.
