Hungarian Dalma Galfi moved into the final of the Catalonia Open by defeating Russian Oksana Selekhmeteva 6-3, 6-1 on Friday.
Galfi, ranked No 121, will play the winner of the match between Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich and Swiss Rebeka Masarova next.
The Hungarian won against Chinese Xiyu Wang (6-3, 6-2), Australian Kimberly Birrell, the No 4 seed (6-2, 6-1) and Spaniard Guiomar Maristany Zuleta De Reales (6-2, 6-4) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds, Selekhmeteva, ranked No 161, beat American Louisa Chirico (6-1, 6-2), New Zealander Lulu Sun, the second seed (6-0, 6-2) and Spanish wildcard Aliona Bolsova (6-2, 6-0).
