French qualifier Diana Martynov reached the last 16 of the Grand Est Open 88 by winning against Argentinian Nadia Podoroska, the top seed, 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 on Tuesday.
Martynov, ranked No 498, will face French wildcard Margaux Rouvroy next.
