Krejcikova snaps Swiatek’s streak in finals, wins Ostrava title
Barbora Krejcikova lifted the trophy on Sunday against Iga Swiatek
Czech Barbora Krejcikova won the Ostrava Open title by defeating Pole Iga Swiatek, the top seed, 5-7, 7-6 (4), 6-3 at the Ostravar Aréna on Sunday.
Krejcikova took her sixth championship point with an ace to become the first woman to defeat Swiatek in a final since Polona Hercog did it at Lugano in 2019.

She’ll be back at the 14th rank on Monday.
