San Luis Potosi Open: Pigossi makes second round

Brazilian Laura Pigossi moved into the second round of the San Luis Potosi Open by winning against Slovenian Dalila Jakupovic 7-5, 6-3 at the Club Deportivo Potosino on Monday.
Pigossi, ranked No 116, will face the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Alize Cornet, the No 7 seed, and Chinese qualifier Xiaodi You next.
