The draw for the women’s singles event at Roland-Garros 2025 was unveiled on Thursday in the presence of French footballer Ousmane Dembélé.

Three-time defending champion, Iga Swiatek, was on hand to speak at the event after the women’s draw was released. The Pole could face 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu in what would be a tantalising second-round encounter. With a lower seeding of fifth this year, Swiatek is projected to face recent Italian Open champion Jasmine Paolini in the quarter-finals, while the draw has pitted her and world No 1 Aryna Sabalenka in the same half.
