Frenchman Ugo Humbert climbed four places to a new career-high ranking of No 14 on Monday, reward for a brilliant week in Dubai when he romped to the title.

The left-hander beat Gael Monfils, Andy Murray, Hubert Hurkacz, Daniil Medvedev and then, in the final, Alexander Bublik to clinch his second title of 2024.

The 25-year-old, who is now 6-0 in finals, is joined in the top 20 by Bublik, who also hits a new career-high at No 20 itself.
