Ruud rolls past Mmoh to reach last eight in Dallas
Casper Ruud beat Michael Mmoh 6-1, 6-4 on Thursday night at the ATP 250 on the indoor hard courts of Dallas. He will face Yoshihito Nishioka in the next round.

Casper Ruud, the second seed, moved into the quarter-finals of the Dallas Open by beating qualifier Michael Mmoh 6-1, 6-4 at the Ford Center at The Star on Thursday.
Ruud, ranked No 5, will face Japan’s Yoshihito Nishioka on Friday.
Ahead of his victory, the Norwegian got the best of Australian lucky loser James Duckworth 7-5, 4-6, 6-2.
Mmoh, ranked No 422, edged out Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 in the previous round. This was the American’s second tournament since May of 2024 after recovering from injury.
