Indian Wells: Rybakina advances to last eight, meets Muchova next

Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the No 10 seed, beat Russian qualifier Varvara Gracheva 6-3, 6-0 to move into the last eight of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells on Tuesday.
Rybakina, ranked No 10 and the reigning Wimbledon champion, will face Karolina Muchova next.
The Kazakh won against American wildcard Sofia Kenin (7-6 (6), 7-6 (5)) and Spaniard Paula Badosa, the No 21 seed (6-3, 7-5) ahead of her win today.
Earlier in the tournament, Gracheva, ranked No 66, won against Belgian qualifier Ysaline Bonaventure (6-2, 6-2), Croat Petra Martic, the No 25 seed (6-3, 6-2) and No 8 seed Daria Kasatkina (6-4, 6-4).
